Sea Turtle Conservation

  • Taking care of the sea turtles
  • Feeding them, bathing the turtles
  • Cleaning the turtle tanks

Tourism Activities

Madu River Boat Safari

  • Breathtaking boat ride at the madu river area, surrounding the river are all swampy marshlands covered in mangrove forests.
  • Over 300 species, 19 of which are endemic.
  • 111 bird species identified to inhabit the region. This mangrove forests is a dream coming true for bird watchers.

Mask Factory and Moonstone Mine

  • Sri Lanka is famous for its gems, one of which is the moonstone.
  • You will be able to see the workshop where the masks are being made and also you can learn how its crafted.

Tea Factory and Spice Garden

  • Surrounded by nature at its very best, you will learn everything you need to know about tea. Tea tasting at the panoramic view.
  • Spice garden tour you will get to see many spices, as Sri Lankan spices are well known around the world.
